After giving birth, plenty of women have pelvic floor issues. And not only that, they still have many symptoms that affect their lives, like urinary incontinence or pain. This case study is focused on how physiotherapy can help not only with in-person attendance but also with complementary online services.

For this project, we needed to design a responsive web platform with a payment service focused on women’s health physiotherapy focused on postpartum, pelvic floor, and menopause for women in Paris.

Problem and challenges

First-time active mothers in Paris need to find a way to have access to reliable postpartum rehabilitation that fits easily into their busy schedules. They want to regain their strength and feel comfortable in their bodies while being supported during the process.

The primary challenge in this project was to achieve a digital project that builds trust. There was nor content or designed services, so we had to start from scratch. We had to create the content, define some services based on research and design a responsive design that was modern and trustworthy.

Another challenge of this project was that target users in France have their free sessions, so a easy pack of in-person one-on-one sessions was out of the scene. Our stakeholder didn’t have services clear, so we also had to find out that for different targets: postpartum, premenopausal women, and enterprises.

Solution

The finished website exceeded expectations. the website show all the results of the research: trust wass essencial for them so we put a button to talk to the professional first. We found out that younger women prefer online and hybrid sessions and formats, but older women prefer one to one sessions. We did a clear service definition and remove all friction from the payment method and designed all screens and content with clients feedback.

The visual design match the brand attributes such as empowerment, community, freedom, movement and humanity.

The final deliverables included:

  • A first functional version of the website

  • A high-fidelity interactive prototype

  • One validated happy path

  • A responsive version adapted at a later stage
